I would like to thank your for making a great beam! Despite buying mineused and in pieces (many missing!) I was delighted to find that youstocked everything I needed to get my Classic 33 into the air and working. I would recommend this antenna to anyone looking for high performance plus quality construction and workmanship. Attached is a photo of mine with a few visitors....13 Ibis decided tostop by today and rest...there were 15 but two took off as I set up to take the picture. I called technical support this morning to ask a question about the pro 67B, mainly 40 meters adjustment. After just a few questions your technical support was able to pin point the problem and recommend solutions to fix it. I received expert advice and precision solution recommendations. Your technical staff went above and beyond requirements as this beam was purchased used and not directly from Mosley. I have used an ancient ta-33 for a few months and stumbled on a great priced pro67b so I replaced the ta-33 with the pro67b. Based on the performance of both beams the Mosley line of antennas will be my only choice for any antenna purchase in the future of this hobby. Please pass on to the technical staff a big hearty THANK YOU from a newly licensed amateur which through Mosley's excellent antennas and their superior customer service has earned a future life long customer. I will certainly recommend your product line to many of my friends most newly licensed and explain the wonderful customer service Mosley provides to anyone who owns their products Thanks. As you may know, 40m BAND edge will be expanded to 7.2MHz from this March/30 in Japan. I fortunately got ready for new 7 MHz band width with my Pro67C. Very thanks to provide the wonderful antenna. I purchased my Mosley PRO-57B from you on 5/15/1991, and it was delivered to me on 7/8/1991. I mounted it on 70' of Rohn 25G and it has been there ever since. The order number was 93901, serial number 559486, and the purchase price was $567.95 plus $41.63 for shipping .... for a total of $609.58. (Introduction Price on the B Model in 1991)
This antenna has survived being encased in solid ice on several occasions, has survived winds in excess of 60 mph, has endured countless sub zero days and nights, snow storms, rain storms, thunder and lightning storms, and just about everything the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire can throw at it. It bends, it sways, it groans, but it never breaks. The SWR curves are the same today as they were when I first installed it. It effortlessly takes the output of my Alpha 87A amplifier and has helped me reach DXCC Honor Roll in the past.
This antenna is as good today as it was the first day I mounted it on my tower back in the summer of 1991. I've had countless antennas during my many years as a ham radio operator, but none have given me the service of this Mosley. Thanks guys!Stanley Holz, KS1S ,Whitefield, NH 03598

Attached is a ground rod at about 3 1/2 feet and 2 radials for 40, 1 for 20. The performance is excellent. As you can see I have it mounted on the side of a hill. The antenna is about 20ft tall and it is up on the hill at about 5 1/2 feet up.Very easy to assemble and when you look at the quality of some of these other antennas on the market, Mosley is clearly "A Better Antenna". -----Original Message-----From: Tom Morgan [mailto:info@onboardpublications.co.za] Sent: Thursday, November 27, 2008 9:50 PM To: Mosley Electronics, Inc. Subject: TA36 working Thank you ----- Original Message ----- Hi Gary As promised I am writing to give you an update on my TA-36. First let me say thank you for all the help. Since operating with the TA-36 I have been working DX stations, and more particularly the West Coast for my WAS. I am well pleased with its performance on 20M. I was working W6ccp long path yesterday before any of the other ZS or far east stations could copy him! I was running 200watts pep from my TS-480HX. My tower is 15m above fround and the terrain is flat for a long distance towards the east (long path). On 20m it resonates at 14.255+/- (1.35:1) and is good without an ATU for much of the band. I am working PSK so I am using an ATU, but for fone I do not have to for most of the band. I see the frequency is a little lower than the spec. and I include it as it may give you an insight regarding the 10m band. On 15m the antenna resonanates at 21.255 +/- (1.4:1) and is fairly flat in line with the spec. sheet you sent. On 10m the antenna is a 'best match' with a SWR of 1.65:1 on 28.930 +/-. It appears to be a sharper rise in SWR than on the spec. sheet.I made up the transformer from the TA-36 transformer assembly sheet and we triple-checked the measurements. I used RG213 as I was told that the coax needed to have 0.66 velocity factor. I was told the transformer was there because the antenna has an impedence of 25ohms on 10m. Is there anything I can do to bring the antenna SWR on 10m down, or do I just run it thru the ATU? As the feed is held in place using one of the driven element holding machine screws it will be a major job to remove and start again. When I bring the antenna down for a check, in a few years, I will be modifying this so the structure and the electrical feed do not share hardware. This antenna fell down during erection and was left neglected for some 10 years until i was given it. That it works so well it a testimony to the design and construction. I wonder how old the design is. Is there anything you can suggest, please let me know - and thank you guys once more for your advice Brgds Tom Morgan ZS1AFS/G0CAJ

Hi there! Please find attached a picture of my new TA-33-M Warc (+40m Kit). Its on the top of my tower over the roof (around 20 meters to the ground) in North West Italy. The antenna is really well built and, all in all, easy to assemble. A bit more difficult is the 40 meter kit that unexpectedly expects an opposite color code (outside vs inside). In addition, the 20 meter swr-band seems a bit narrower than what is declared in the manual. Im wondering if the TA-40-KR could be the cause of that. The rest of the bands are OK. Anyway, Im happy and satisfied by these great products, especially after the first weeks of use. Thanks Mosley! 73 de IZ1LBB (alias KI4TJB) Ivrea - Italy
Here is one of the antennas that has been taking up a lot of our production and developement time.
Due to the number of critical orders we are going to have to postpone our new vertical. There is no way to forecast the time period for the completion of this antenna. We will be working on it behind the scenes and when it is available we will announce it here on the NEWS page.
We appreciate all of the interest in this antenna and are sorry to be disappointing you at this time. We will make it up to you when it is formally introduced.

Gary, One month ago I bought a TA33M that made me the third owner. After installation at 45 feet, it performed better than I ever imagined it would. The swr was 1.2 to 1.5 across the entire transmitting frequencies and there were no glitches. (no dead spots) Needless to say I was extremely happy. The antenna is as advertised or better. Then, just two weeks ago, I was told by the original owner that it was acquired in 1965! Now I'm wondering how it has survived Michigan and northern Illinois winters and still performs equally well with any other beam in its class. Amazing isn't it. I have absolutely no complaints at all. The best peice of equipment I have ever owned. Thanks for making " Made in America" continuing to mean that we are still the best. If you are thinking of ordering in the near future you might consider moving up your time table. Once our cost reach a certain point we will have no other choice but to increase our prices. CL-33 Remarks! 2-18-08
The best yagi antenna ever made, bar none. In the 80's, I traded a one year old HyGain TH6-DXX for a very used (had type N conn.) CL33 and have never looked back Tom Gentry, W5RG, long a silent key, swore by your CL-33 and it was he that got me to go with the CL-33. Best decision I have ever made in antennas. Attached is an updated pic of the "old" CL-33 with the "new" WARC kit. Made first contacts ever on 12 and 17 M using 100 watts from a TS570 working the Ducie island DXpedition near Tahiti (made contacts with them on the first call on these bands). The 17M dipole performs as good as a multi-element yagi. There are two pictures attached. The first is the antenna on a step ladder pointed west as I "tuned it up before going on the tower. This is when I heard VP6DX on Ducie, called him and got him on the first call. Pretty good for an antenna at 6 feet high. Mt son and I put it up an hour later at 55 feet. and cranked off Ducie contacts on 12, 15 and 20 M in no time. I am awaiting on 10M for the DXpedition to show up this afternoon. Many thanks! Roger White, W5RD Murphy, Texas
(As a note this CL-33 is at least 45 years old and the WARC kit is a few months)
How's that for a return on your investment?
Thanks for the letter Roger.

Jay, If I'm too late, it's no problem. Here a a few pictures of my new anteena and tower installed in June of this year. I've done 3 or 4 RTTY Roundup's now, and I enjoy them a lt. Last year,I was lucky enough to win first place in the MidWset division, low power class. That was from this QTH, using my Orion, and an all band dipole srung in the trees at about 35 feet. This year, the new tower holds a Mosely Pro 67 C 3 at 58 feet, and resonant dipoles on 80 and 160. Needless to say, this is a much nicer setup. I think Mosley antennas are really under rated, as this thing works great!! I made my goal of 800 qso's in the roundup this year, and hopefully will have a good result in the final scoring. I am using a Ten Tec Orion, LDG AT-200 Pro tuner, and N1MM for software. If you need any more info, just drop me an e mail.
That's me up on the tower, installing the new antenna. The ground crew was my son Nathan, and Joe Foreman, a ham buddy and my wife Debi. The crane operator, Steve Pacha ia also a local ham. Thanks, Don Steele, NT0F

Hullo Gary, I made the first tests with my new PRO96S. My first impression is that the antenna really overperforms my old PRO96, which was impressive itself. I was expecially impressed in the 40m performances ! On 30m I don't miss my S302 (element full size) which, as you know, has been destroied with the PRO96 due to a tower brake. I installed the 30/17/12 metre TW-33-XL in September 2006, and I was astonished at the DX I was working. It really cracks on all 3 bands, and to have 3 elements on 30-metres is something else. No wonder the N8S guys decided to take three of them to Swains Island! This beam has taken everything our weather can throw at it for 14 months, and increased my DXCC totals on all three WARC bands dramatically. It is literally a "one call" antenna on 30-metres, and there is no compromising 17 and 12, either. Like all Mosley antennas, it is built to last a lifetime. Anyone who has traditional 20/15/10 tribander and wants to get on the WARC bands with great forward gain and F/B needs to have a TW-33-XL. Accept nothing less! 73.DX Paul VE1DX

Good Morning from Stanford, Montana. Just wanted to say thank you for a wonderful antenna, the TA-33-JR. It arrived on the 20th, and I got it up to a towering height of 25 feet on the 21st. As you can see by my "small" roof tower, it's not as high as most installations, but, it works great! Had to use what I had, and that was it. The only problem I discovered was that the old rotor cable I had was one conductor short,so had to order some more. It arrived and got it installed the 26th. Nice to be able to turn the antenna. Yes, if I can hear them, I can work them. The antenna went together easily and I got it up on the roof by myself with no trouble what so ever. It was definitely worth the wait. To: Gary Sr & Jr: I would like to give you some feedback on the PRO-67-C I installed at the end of October, 2006. First I was given a delivery of 30 working days which you beat by several days. Thank you! Further, the marked and pre-drilled holes made assembly very straight forward. I did have a few questions regarding tuning the 40 meter portion which were quickly answered by phone. The antenna was installed on a US Tower HDX-555 crank-up which is kept at around the 40 foot level most of the time. Band conditions have certainly not been great in the past 5 months, but below is a chart of the countries worked and confirmed from my log for the period.
Mode Worked/Confirmed
Mixed 165 111
Phone 80 52
CW 135 85
40M 103 65
30M 43 21
20M 101 60
15M 25 16
12M 1 1
10M 3 2
I have DXCC Mixed mode worked and confirmed. I also have CW, 40 and 20 meter DXCC worked and they will hopefully be confirmed in the next couple of months. (I receive 2-5 DX QSL's every day.) Not bad for five months! As you will note, I am on 40 meters a great deal. I was concerned the PRO-67-C would not be high enough to provide a low takeoff angle for 40 meter DX. I am sure it would work even better much higher, but I am extremely pleased with the results which are much better than I ever expected! While I like to chase DX, few of my contacts were 'Contest Contacts' i.e., signal report and location only. To say the least, I am very happy with the antenna. Gary.. Well after three years of getting things together everything came together last week and the PRO-67C3 I purchased from you is in the air. I just wanted to send you these pictures and Thank You for your advice and support when we called in with a few questions. I look forward to many years of service out of the PRO-67C3. My first contact was in Hondurus using less than 50 watts, not bad when at the time I didn't know the antenna was pointed away from him.. Oh well, still learning. Please allow me to say a special Thank You to AF4WA who told me about Mosley and who also was instrumental in it's purchase and putting it together. Thanks Again Gary for a Quality Product and Professional Support on the phone. 73's KC4UIW Tommy Jeter LaGrange, GA
You ask for it and here it is!
TA-53 to a TA-54! AND a New TA-63-M, a 53 with 6 meters!
You can now add just 6 meters to your 53 or take it all the way up to a TA-54-XL-6!
Take your TA-53 and add a 3 element 6 meter beam still using your single feed line!
53 to a 54 is the 4th element mod for 10, 12, 15, 17, and 20 meters!
For those that want to keep the size to a 14 foot boom, the TA-63-M gives you the proven performance of the TA-53-M with the addition of 6 meters!
This new series should answer just about any hams demand for an antenna. Built like a tank and broad as a pancake these antennas will give you years, and years of trouble free operating enjoyment!
The gain on the TA-63-M is the same as the TA-53 on 10 thru 20 and has 6.8 db gain on 6 meters.
All on 1 feed line!
The SWR curves for all of these antennas are shown below.
S
TA-54-XL-6
Forty meters can also be added to these antennas to give you 40 Meters and a 6 Band antenna with 1 Feed Line!
TA-54-XL-6 Is Available - 7 Element Beam with ALL of the Above PLUS 3 Elements on 6 Meters!
TA-54-XL - 5 elements on 10, 12, 15, 17, and 20 meters!

Here is a picture of a TA-33 that is darn close to 50 years old, if it isn't. In Bob's email he mentions the "RED" worn out end tips. Well the last of those were made in 1958. Bob felt it was time to get a new one and just ordered a new TA-33-M taking advantage of our anniversary sale. (See Below) Thanks for a great picture.
Friends, This morning a spoke with a fine gentleman "Gary Sr." and ordered a new TA-33M, (on sale Yea!) the TA-40Kr and a jug of the antenna coat. This is the 3rd TA-33!The first one met an untimely end in the early 70's when a devastating storm ripped up roofs and trees and severely mangled my Mosley. It found a second life though as "tomato" sticks in the garden (no wonder they were so big... residual RF) The second TA-33 now resides with my New York City Transit Radio Club "K2IRT" This antenna runs rings around the competition and gave us amazing field day results. And this is the purpose of my letter. #1 just to confirm my order of October 30th, 2006 and... #2 send you some very interesting Photos of our TA-33 and the Statue of Liberty! I am sending you this first group to see how you like them. There are more if you wish. We set up our recent K2IRT Field day site at one of my Power Substations on the Brooklyn waterfront, in the shadow of the Brooklyn bridge, just north of the Statue of liberty. These photos show Lady Liberty seemingly saluting the antenna! ( The red you see on the coil ends is tape... The plastic end caps wore out and we haven't had time to get the new ones) I hope you enjoy these shots and please, feel free to use them or modify them in whatever manner you wish! Subject: PRO 67 B 3" BOOM The beam went up 10/7/06, It is on a Rohn 25g tower at 63 ft. We used a cantiliner methoud to put it up. The antenna rode up on a cable attached to a pulley. Double tag lines on each end of the antenna helped control it during a 28 mph gust. As the wind did let up, as it went up? About a 4 foot piece of aluminum angle iron was u bolted to the boom with a rope on the top, so as the antenna went up we could change the pitch, and send it up at a 45 degree angle to help us out getting it to the tower. Swr is less than 1.3.1 on all of the six bands. F/B on 20 meters is great! Here is a few pic's of it. Sorry but the e-mail attachment will be large. Bill N0ARU

You have so many testimonials on your website that I hesitated to add my own. but here goes anyway.
I was originally licensed as W9GZJ in 1949, but used dipoles only because of space and other factors. Got transferred to Connecticut in 1960 as W1RBO and again used a vertical antenna because of "ease" of installation. In both cases I had mediocre to poor results.
Then, in 1964 I got transferred back to the Midwest, still using poor antennas. Finally, in 1971 I bought a TA-33 Trap Master and mounted it on a six foot tripod on the roof of a ranch style house. I was amazed at the results even at this low height. Successfully worked a great deal of DX, including the South Pole, KC4USV with 5,9+ signal reports. That's when I started to work on my DXCC.
In 1976 I got transferred to San Diego and moved into an antenna restricted subdivision. I decided to mount the old tripod on a half door in a corner of the house and used a large pipe to mount the rotor and beam. But before I put up the beam, I cleaned it up with 00 steel wool, sprayed it with Krylon clear lacquer and recoated the sliding elements with Penatrox. It worked great! I figured if neighbors complained, I could take it down without a problem. No on did! I was W6TGK at the time.
In 1980, I got transferred back to the Midwest, still W6TGK, and this time I put up a Rohn 25G at 50 feet. Again, I went through the same antenna preparation as before and the antenna look "brand new".
Finally, in 1986, I retired and moved two miles south on a 5/8 acre lot, put the Rohn 125 feet from the house and put up a US Towers TX-455 crank-up/tilt-over tower. This was going to be my "Last Hurrah". Again, I reconditioned the antenna, replaced some insulators on the driven element and up she went looking good as new!
I had a great time working DX and finally made my DXCC!
That antenna has performed flawlessly with low SWR on all bands for all these years, but now, due to recent surgery for severe arthritic stenosis. I'm restricted in my activities. So, I've had the tower and antennas taken down to dispose of them.
And, you know what? The beam still looks great! There are no signs of deterioration anywhere!
There is no question that your website is correct, "Mosley antennas are handed down from one generation to another. Forgive my long ramble, but I just had to tell the whole story.

| Garry/Tim, I have just ordered THREE (3) insulating blocks P/N A-1002 plus required hardware. One is still in perfect condition. This antenna has been at the top of my tower for 35 years and this is the first time that it has required any kind of servicing. I would like to congratulate Mosley for your excellent product. We have a somewhat extreme climate at this location in Montreal. During an ice storm a few years ago the MP33 was caked in approximately 1 inch of solid ice. I felt sure the whole contraption was going to come down. The elements were very severely bent from the horizontal but once the ice melted all elements assumed their correct orientation. I thought I would e-mail a picture I recently took of two Turkey Vultures sitting on my 40+ year old TA33. You have engineered it well for wind load as well as bird load. I bought the TA33 in about 1965 direct from Mosley. Over the years I have made a few repair, the most significant being after an 8 inch snow storm in Nebraska which was accompanied by 80 mph winds. The only repair required was replacing one section of aluminum tubing. The reflector was blown off the boom, which probably due to my not tightening the u bolt sufficiently. Over the years I have had the beam installed at 4 different locations and took the opportunity each time it was reassembled to inspect it and replaced an insulator or hardware as needed. I was always able to get the parts I needed from Mosley.
Thanks & 73'

K8ZE Original Message ----- Saturday, February 28, 2004 5:23 PM Hi Gary I am sorry it has taken so long to write and express my thanks for the service Mosley has provided. I now have both the Cl 33 M and AM 56 up and operating. The performance of both is as expected from a company with the reputation of Mosley Electronics. The CL 33 M seems to be very sharp and a little better than I expected frankly. The 6 meter beam is astounding the pattern is much better than expected, given the close proximity of the other antennas. And the quality of construction is all that I remember the name Mosley represents. I hope to add a WARC beam and another tower in a couple of years and you can rest assured Mosley will be the solution. Thanks for all the personal service you and your staff provided getting the order straightened out even during your down time for inventory. I must say with the service and product you provide I can't imagine using another manufacturer. Please except my sincere gratitude for all your help and attention during this process. Mini
W4ARM, Subject: Mini 32A Gary, I built and installed the Mini 32A on Sunday 9-1. Currently it is at the 25 feet level and the SWR curves are pretty typical of what is shown in the catalog and in the instruction sheet. Since final tuning, where we had to legthen the elements about 2.5" on each side from the specs in the manual, I have worked 34 countries on 20 and 15 CW and SSB, both at 100 watts and 500 watts in less than two days. Here is a small sample for you to get an idea of the performance from Miami, Florida: Antarctica, W. Samoa, Algeria, Surimame, Equador, Macedonia, Poland, Wales, Scotland, Zambia, Chagos Island and on and on. Signal reports are very good and so far with the small size I am getting big performance, and looking forward to putting this antenna to work in the next major contest. 73's, Alan W4ARM

Although you recommended the antenna be at least 17 feet up, it's mounted 14 feet above the roof, using an 8 foot roof top tower, and guyed with heavy double braided dacron. Tuned to the CW portion of the bands, I hoped my SWR would still be ok and IT WAS.. Indeed, I get a consistent reading of 1.1 to 1.2 across the band, along with superb performance. Worked the "real rare ones" with ease, barefoot, this antenna is simply a charm to use for such a small foot print. The really good news is that my neighbours actually stated that this set-up looks quite nice, a real compliment... Thank you again for such quality products and superb workmanship. Hello,I want to take this opportunity to thank you for designing and manufacturing such a superior antenna. Please don't ever compromise and lower your design standards. My Mosley Pro-67-C-3 survived the winds of category four hurricane Charley with only a few minor issues. The fact that the antenna was completely intact after the eyewall of the hurricane, with sustained winds of 145 MPH, passed just 12 miles from my house was very reassuring. My tower is in a location where it is fully exposed for about a mile from the South East to the South West where the strongest winds came from. The antenna rotated about 45 degrees on the mast from the stress of the hurricane force winds. All of the nuts on the U bolts securing the antenna to the mast were all torqued down tightly. It just rotated on the mast. Many other hams in town either sustained heavy damage to their towers and or antennas due to the hurricane or lost them completely. Mecanically there is no comparison with HI-GAIN and KLM antennas. In the enclosed picture you can see the PRO96-3 and S302, in the middle of a phased Array for 80m and a Vertical for 160m, overviewing Muzzano Lake and Mount Lema in the southern Alps. (Picture to follow in a few days.) P.S. If I should one day upgrade the system, my choice could only be the new PRO96S. Best 73's from Dan, HB9CIP

GE folks especially Gary, Email shall serve as initial notification that I am sending a CD with JPG pictures of my Mosley PRO-67 mounted at 70 feet height which survived its seventh or so ice storm. I'm the original owner and the antenna has been up for many years since new. Of particular note is the fact that the ice storm occurred April 6, 2003 and lasted over a 3 to 4 day period to be subsequently finished with about 4" of snow. This is Spring in Washington Twp, Michigan (30 miles North of Detroit). The ice storm was touted as the worst hitting this area in 30 years. Over 200,000 people of Detroit Edison and Consumer's Power were without electricity, with up to 6 days outage. A tree even fell on our garage causing damage. The Mosley PRO-67 still flies proudly over my QTH. Thanks for the very well made product and enjoy the pictures. 73's Bill Rovas, WA1APX/8 Washington Twp, MI

KA7T, PRO-67-B, "First let me say how pleased I am with my PRO-67 beam. It has been in use for about 5 years or so and is great. A first class multi-band beam." 11-26-01
K9ZE, PRO-67-B, "Gary, I just wanted to take a moment to thank you again for all your help. It never seems (to me at least) to be enough to just say, "Thank You," when encountering an all-to-infrequent, positive experience with product support. I owned my own business for many years, and if there was anything I learned from it, it was the importance of maintaining an honest working rapport with customers. Actually, and concurrently, I also learned that no matter how good your quality control is, when your dealing with bits and pieces of metal and plastic - - something is always going to break (eventually). In my making an effort to keep this note of reasonable length, I'll just tell you that this is the fourth Mosley antenna I've owned over the years, and your company: with its customers, parts, and tech support, continues to amaze me. No matter how dumb my questions have been, or how difficult or weird my parts (needed) situation was, your company has always come through, supplying information and or parts needed to complete, or repair one of your antennas. Thanks to you and your company, the 67-B is back up in the air, looking for pile-ups to bust and new countries to confirm. It's great for a company that really does care about its products and its customers." 11-11-01
V2IAS, PRO-96, "It was a pleasure doing business with you on the telephone. I received my PRO-96 air freight in good condition. I checked the SWR on all bands and found it was almost flat on all bands and on both ends of all bands at the C.W. end and is almost 1:1 at 7,250 MHz. I have contacted at least 2,000 stations. My report is excellent at all times. I must congratulate you and say Mosley is on the top."
K1ER, PRO-96, "Many of the DXers buying are doing so after an exchange of electronic mail and usually several phone calls. You might be interested in some of the quotes: 1.) Sub: ICE, ICE, ICE and more ICE John there is justified increased interest in Mosley antennas around here (Minn.). We had a horrible ice/wind storm on Friday...6 days after my new PRO-57-B went up in the air. I spent Friday evening watching the thing whip around atop my tower, wondering when it was coming down, and thinking of all the work and $$$ that would be going down the drain. Well, it didn't come down! It is bowed under the weight of 1/2 to 3/4 inches of ice but doesn't appear to have been damaged by 50+ MPH winds that followed the ice storm... There were many antennas lost around here since Friday and it seems that Mosley has done everything right in their construction. I know another ham with a Mosley CL-36 that also has survived with no damage....2.) (Same ice storm) If anybody wants to know how other brands will stand up to 3/4" radial ice and 50 MPH winds, simply put, they're an ugly mess.." "My PRO-57-B at 92 feet survived...it was -5F this AM... not much ice melting. Mosley seems to be the antenna of choice around here after the ice storm." "PRO-96 Colorado, "I came out at sunrise this morning to shovel 6 inches of very wet snow to feed the birds. There was 2 to 3 inches of the same heavy snow on top of all the elements, boom, etc., of the PRO-96. So I just turned it back and forth 90 degrees a few times and shook off all the snow. I am still pleased with the performance on all six bands..."
K9FN, PRO-96, "I continue to love the antenna...By the way this antenna really draws a crowd when people hear what I\'92m using. Comments range from "Is it really that big? to, "Boy I wish I had one." My own feeling is that for the first time in my life I have found a multiband antenna worthy of my tower and my DX aspirations."
K4CJO, PRO-95, "In summary the PRO-95 has been a very strong performer and has met my expectations for a single antenna for 5 bands with mono band performance."
KC6NJX, PRO-95, "Thank you for all the good work you did on the PRO-95 antenna. It lives up to all my expectations. I wan to especially thank you for your patience when I called and asked for technical information and directions. Thanks again."
WK9Z, PRO-67-B "I have a 3 vertical switchable array on 40, the 67-B out performances the array by 3-5 S units on the long haul stuff and about 2 units into Europe. All in all, it's a fine product."
KM4P-W9FW-TU4EI-TU5EV, PRO-67-B "I had the pleasure of working over 270 countries in a 5 month period from West Africa... The reports were phenomenal. Since my return to the U.S. I have purchased a PRO-96."
WG0G, PRO-67-B, "I didn't think you could make a better antenna than my CL-36, but you sure did. The antenna has performed better than I thought it could...and it takes up no more space than my old tri-bander. Thanks for your continued manufacturing of quality, top performing antennas."
KQ4RS, PRO-67-B, "The assembly like all Mosleys, is simple. The SWR curves are exactly where your manual says they should be. As for the performance, I worked 3Y0PI on 10, 12, 15, 17, 20, and 40, both phone and cw. I have a well known 2 element full size 40 meter beam on another tower and the PRO-67-B out performed it! Thank all your people for a well made, efficient antenna.."
N5OON, PRO-67-B, "I want to thank your company, the PRO-67-B antenna is wonderful! The wait for delivery was worth it...I am going to have many years of enjoyment from it.."
N4PYD, PRO-67-B, "FABULOUS! Thanks again for building an exceptional product, keep up the good work."
W9RB, "My PRO-67-C does a good job on all bands from 40 to 10."
HB9JAW, PRO-67-B, "I am very happy to own a Mosley PRO-67-B. PS: HB9CNV and HB9JBL would never give away their PRO-67-B's, as well!"
HB9CIP, "My PRO-67-C is working very well! Compared with a vertical system with 60 buried radials on 40 meters the 67-C is 2 'S' units better. Great results! What a great antenna the PRO-67-C. We are ordering soon for our contest station another one soon."
N3XI, PRO-57-B "Bottom line is that I am extremely please with the performance of my PRO-57-B."
KB6JOX, PRO-57-B "Great job to everyone at Mosley! Thank you for my PRO-57-B."

----- Original Message ----- From:Walter Carlington To: mosley@mosley-electronics.com Sent:Saturday, July 30, 2005 7:06 AM Subject: Thank you Mosley Hello, My name is Walter Carlington. My call is VP9KD. The attachment is a report on my eleven year old antenna. Walter, VP9KD. Walter Carlington VP9KD, Northern Seas, 6 Sandycroft Lane, Southampton SN02, Bermuda 24 July 2005. This photo of my Mosley TA-33M-WARC was taken on May 01 2005, soon after its annual maintenance inspection and its crank-over tower righted. The tower, a crank-up, remains nested. The antenna sits a height of 32above the ground, 242 above sea level. The Antenna, along with the Yaesu rotator was installed November 12th. 1994. Eleven years later, they are still working well.Dont let the scene in the photo fool you, as this is a reflection of our spring weather. During the winter months, Bermuda sits in the path of the variable westerlies. The winds blow from the west (the direction the antenna is facing), at an average speed of 25 MPH, with gusts up to the 40s, carrying a lot of salt spray with them. Hence the reason for the spring inspections. To help prevent the breaking of the insulators and screws on the driven elements, I have backed them up with heavy-duty plastic ties. The black plastic ties can be seen in the photo. Back in 1979, I started with a Mosley TA-33. I have tried other manufactures antennas, but was never satisfied with their performances. The low SWR, average 1.2-1 on 10 thro 20 meters, the low wind surface area and the reports I receive from stations around the world, makes this an antenna to be proud of. Thank you Mosley. Sincerely, Walter Carlington, VP9KD
April 2, 2006 - Greetings Gary Sr, Thought I had better report on the antenna that you shipped to me last month...No problem at all to assemble and fix to the tower, yesterday was our first bit of wind it did not even sway so that was impressive, on the few contacts that I have made I am receiving better reports than what I give and I am only tuning up to 80 watts also swr is so low that I have by passed the atu and direct couple into the rig, Mostly on cw but have edged up the band (20 mtrs ) on phone a few times still low swr,15 mtrs is the same but will have to use the tuner for 10mtrs if it ever opens up agn. Only hiccup was that I had to pay GST to Govt before they would release it, anything over the value of $400.oo NZ has to pay Goods and Services Tax (thieving hounds ) Oh well it is up and going and you have a satisfied customer enjoying what others have told me regards es tnx 73 cheers for now Stan ZL2BLQ....ZL2SWR (club) trustee

AA8IN, TA-33-M-WARC with TA-40-KR, "I don't know the proper adjectives to use to express how pleased I am and how terrific your antenna performs. I purchased the TA-33-M-WARC with the TA-40-KR attachment in June of 2000 and was able to get my new addition up by the end of summer. It out performs my old tri-band beam (from a big name manufacturer) hands down. I am breaking through pile ups running barefoot (100w) when I always had to fire up the amp with the old antenna. I am amazed at how well the antenna performs on the WARC bands even though your specifications say there is no forward gain. You might want to check your figures again, because it sure performs more like a beam than a dipole. Last winter gave me a much better appreciation for the quality and strength of Mosley products. During one of the first snow storms we were blasted with a storm that had winds clocked in excess of 80 miles per hour. Not only did the antenna withstand the winds, it even survived the chimney cap from my stove ricocheting off of it. It was a long wait, but I know I have an antenna that gives me an advantage that I didn't have before and it is built to last for many years to come. Thanks for quality products and service."
KC6CEM, TA-32-M, "My QTH is plagued with problems where power lines, trees, metal patio covers and other similar conditions cause diminished antenna performance. In spite of these obstacles, the Mosley's performance has been truly astonishing. It consistently out-performs my 3 element mono bander on 10 meters and a 5 band vertical on 10-15-20 meters. The antenna is working so well I hardly have time to keep up with my QSLing. (P.S. Just had a wind storm with 60 MPH gusts that destroyed my 36 foot push up mast that the TA-32 was mounted on. To my surprise the Mosley survived the storm without a dent!)"
VU2PCD, TA-33-M, "I want to thank all the nice people at Mosley for the excellent support and personal attention that I got half way around the world. It was a pleasure to work with you."
WB2HYO, TA-33-M, "I still have my TA-33 that I bought in 1964. It has survived 3 installations and at my current address its been operating for the past 21 years. So altogether, my beam is 36 years old. I have only cleaned the traps ever so often and that's it for maintenance. I'd like to know if this is some kind of record of use for your antennas. It still works great!" (No this antenna is not the oldest in use without needing any parts, there is one from 1954 still going without being touched.)
OA8B, WD4CRB, TA-33-M, "I am a retired missionary having served in the Amazon jungle region of Peru, SA for 28 years. In 1959 we went to Peru to set up a missionary radio network for the missionaries working in Indian villages along the Ucayali River. I took my TA-33 with me and set up my ham radio station. My ham calls were OA3J and OA8B. We were in the hot, humid jungle for 28 years and my TA-33 never failed me. Thank you for producing such a durable and well engineered product."
V73EX, TA-33-M-WARC, "Three years ago I purchased your TA-33-M-WARC. My QTH is Majuro, Marshall Islands. The working conditions are hard on metal of any sort. Heavy salt spray covers all exposed surfaces and gusting winds are commonplace. Your antenna has performed to the highest standards and my signal reports are excellent. As you have already guessed, I am very pleased with my decision to purchase your unit. Thank you for adding to the pleasure of Ham Radio."

K9CJM, TA-53-M, "I have been a ham since 1956 and have drooled over your products since the very beginning. About a year ago I asssembled and positioned a new beam, the TA-53-M. First let me address the assembly process: It went like clock work. All of the parts and the directions were in tact and were easy to follow. No problems in the entire process. Now to the good stuff. I have enjoyed using the antenna for the past year as I have never enjoyed an antenna before. The antenna is literally flat on all bands and for a good share of the time I operated at the 100 watt level. I was competitive with the "big boys" most of the time. Since that time I treated myself to a new rig. The Ten-Tec Omni-VI Plus and the Centurion Amplifier were added and what a dream come true. Now I can work virtually all I can hear. To say that I am happy with my hamming is a complete understatement. I am as excited as I was when I was 16 years old and I am a believer in Mosley products. Thanks for the greatest year of hamming that I ever had." 11-25-01
N3RW, TA-53-M, "I am extremely pleased with my TA-53-M. I've been licenced for 42 years; I've used an assortment of home brew yagis, wires and verticals during that time. The TA-53-M is only the second commercial HF yagi that I've had. Congratulations on a job well done."
K8RGE, TA-53-M, "I want to let you folks know about how very please I am with my beam...In addition, I have had a number of QSO's with other owners who share my positive experiences and opinions of the antenna. My first yagi was a TA-33 back in 1959, and it appears they just keep getting better."
W2BXA, TA-53-M, "I am not a new ham since I have been active on the air since 1929, and I have had just any kind of antenna over these many years...I am not one to hesitate to tell a manufacturer what I think of his product and that is the reason for this letter. At the very first check I was very pleased to see the SWR low on all the bands no matter what frequency was selected. All my life I have been accused of being a DX hound so went to work to check the performance of this new antenna, and must say I am pleased with its performance in every respect. For some reason the station I call invariably returns to me even in good size pile ups. After 4 months of trials, I am most pleased."
VE6JAC, TA-53-M, "I am pleased with the construction and performance. The SWR is just as your catalog stated."
N9ROR, TA-53-M, "Best investment I made in ham radio."
KR4BQ, TA-53-M, "Thanks for making such a well engineered, high quality, effective antenna."
KE6HD, TA-53-M, "Wanted to drop you a note commending you on a great antenna. It is also nice to work with a company with accessible and competent customer support."
WA4SZD, TA-53-M, "I have been in ham radio since the mid 70's, and have owned several brands of antennas. About 10 years ago I purchased a TA-33 on the recommendation of my father-in-law, a ham for 50 years, his comment was, "You can't go wrong with a Mosley." He was right. In February I upgraded to a TA-53-M along with a TA-40-KR for forty meters. Needless to say the performance of the antenna is short of miraculous. I consistently receive excellent signal reports, even when the band is in poor condition. Shortly after having the beam we had hurricane Andrew. Winds were in excess of 100 to 115 MPH for over two hours. When the storm was over I expected to find my antenna a few blocks away. But I looked up at the tower and there it was completely intact, not even an element bent! I cannot say that for other hams in the area that didn't have a Mosley. It is gratifying to find an American company, using American labor and raw materials to manufacture a superior product. Please extend my congratulations to everyone at Mosley!"
Thanks to all those who have written us, we appreciate your kind words and support. We wish we could show everyone's letter that was sent to us. We have been getting a lot of questions about our gain figures. It appears that some will put out or say anything to promote their products, Below is a field test "E" plane of a TA-33 on 15 meters. Gain is a function of boom length, not the type of element used. Period!

BAKER ISLAND
Using the Mosley Mini 33A 3 Element beam on Baker Island
I was chosen as a team member for the Baker Island DXpedition. When I planed my trip to Baker Island I would have the opportunity to travel via Fiji and Tuvalu on the way to Baker Island I made plans to stay on Tuvalu and operate for 3 days going and one day on the return trip.
I needed a portable beam for my trip and choose the Mosley Mini 33A beam because it was small and very light weight.I needed it small enough to fit in my golf case where the portapole, coax, rope guys and other antenna stuff goes.
I contacted Gary at Mosley and he was more than happy to help with my requirements. I had him cut the boom in half so it would be no longer than 3 foot. He sleeved it to make assemble possible using the mounting plate U bolts. I further modified the antenna by cutting the long end tubes down so they would be no longer than 47 inches and sleeved it for reassembly later using screws. My golf case can only carry 48 inch long objects.
After the modifications I tested the antenna and made some adjustments to the driven element length to bring the SWR down to acceptable levels. I did not have time to tune the driven or reflector for optimum performance as recommended in the manual.
I arrived in Tuvalu and erected the Mini 33A beam atop a portapole that I modified to add an additional 6 feet of height. Rolf Kopeke, the owner of the Hide Away Guesthouse, helped me erect the beam on the portapole in 15 minutes.
I assembled the station consisting of an Icom IC756 Pro II, soundcard interface and computer and started working the bands. I worked a little over 1100 contacts using CW, RTTY and PSK and had good signal reports all around. I turned the beam using my hands with ease.
The Princess II arrived and I partially dissembled the antenna by removing the three elements and taped it all together for transport to the ship. It was loaded on the top deck along side the other antennas and masts for the trip to Baker.
After three days at sea we arrived at Baker Island late in the afternoon. We only had time before dark to erect the Mosley Mini 33A, an MA5B and my 40 meter dipole. The first night we used what we could until the morning when we could set up our camps in earnest.
I was in charge of the southern camp nicked named Camp David by the boat crew. Our task was to run RTTY, PSK, SSTV and WARC CW and SSB. The Mosley Mini 33A was used exclusively for RTTY, PSK and SSTV using only 100W from the IC 756 Pro II radio.
The antenna held up very well to the rainsqualls, birds and wind. Not once did the elements get twisted even though 5 Boobie birds were sitting on the antenna at the same time. Everything was bending but when the birds left the beam and pole sprung back to normal.
When it was all said and done we made 4708 QSOs on RTTY, about 500 on PSK and 75 on SSTV using the Mini 33A. The antenna held up well to the elements, birds and preformed well.
I would like to thank Gary and the team at Mosley for their support and helping with my special requests. I will consider Mosley for my next DXpedition anytime.
See Yall on the bands.

We are receiving some great reports back on our MINI-33-A. Here is one of many. It truely is an amazing little antenna! We will gradually get everyones picture and letter on the news page. Thanks for sending them in to us.
WANT SOMETHING BIGGER?
From the Mini-33-A to a "SIX" times bigger antenna the PRO-96-3!
This is a 9 element which has 6 active elements on 10 meters. It has 4 wide spaced elements on 12, 15, 17, and 20 meters. Plus 3 elements on 40 meters.
This antenna is use around the world in all kinds of enviroments and conditions. Since 1991 it has been the leader in "Big Performing" multi-band beams.
Its 36' boom and elements have stood up against hurricane Andrew and Hugo, and fought off the ice and snow of the far north in Russia.
If you want one feed line, one tower, one rotor, and all the bands with a "BIG" signal, then this is the one for you!
(Not responsible for broken S meters!) Hi Hi.

If youre cramped for space and looking for the finest in a self supporting vertical, heres an antenna designed with you in mind. Mosley RV Verticals for 4 or 5 band operation feature automatic band switching from the location of the transceiver. Each antenna utilizes the world famous Trap-Master traps. Undisputed and unaltered since their inception Mosley Trap-Master traps incorporate high Q coils firmly fixed on molded forms. These high quality metal encased traps maintain resonant frequency stability on all bands under a wide variety of weather conditions. With a simplified base mounting technique no concrete footing is necessary. These heavy-duty verticals measure up to the most exacting commercial standards. Elements are swaged for extra strength and reduced wind load. Low angle, omnidirectional radiation and minimum SWR (1.5/1 or better at resonance) assure maximum performance. Power is fed directly to antenna with a single 52 ohm coax line. The new Mosley verticals RV series have been designed to combine ease of installation, and excellent performance! These verticals require only modest ground systems. A complex ground rod and radial systems may be used if the operator desires, but extensive installation experience has proven that outstanding performance is achieved with only a simple mounting post which doubles as the ground rod. As a result, these antennas are ideally suited for upper story installation, city lot dwellers or easy installation in even the most sophisticated QTH.

BASE FOR RV SERIES
The RV-6-C, with the RV-8-D add on for 80 Meters! This vertical only requires a 2" pipe mount in the ground to install the vertical. The antenna comes with a radial kit, however, radials are not required, but will enhance the takeoff angle, and quites the antenna noise verticals tend to pick up. Small in size, but large in performance and strength! Check out this and our other verticals in the "Amateur" section of our web page. If you don't have a lot of room, this 20 foot vertical antenna might be just right for your QTH!
